"HATHQ" stands for "Honest Answers to Honest Questions"

…and is a Christian Website dedicated to answering "Honest Questions" from non-believers and believers alike about Christianity.

HATHQ is divided into these Sections:

Section 1: Pain, Suffering, Death, and the "WHYS?" Thereof

Section 1 is composed of papers on the "WHYS?" of Pain, Suffering and Death — how a loving and merciful God could allow them to exist in His world, and how the Christian should face them.

Section 2: Honest Answers to Honest Questions about Christianity

Section 2 is composed of questions that unbelievers and Christians alike often ask about the Christian religion — questions like:

  • "How do we know that God even exists (and I would rather use Reason than Faith in answering that Question)?"
  • "I believe that Jesus was a very good person and moral teacher, but I don't believe that He Was God."
  • "If there is a God and He is good, then why is there evil in the world?"
  • "Will God send people to hell for not believing in someone of whom they have never heard?"

Section 3: Miscellaneous Questions and Issues

So far, we just have one Paper here — "Christian Men and Pornography" — covering the very serious warnings from the Bible against viewing pornography, its devastating effects on mind, body, spirit, and soul, and how its hold on you can be broken.

Section 4: Assurance of Salvation

Section 4 is for papers on attaining and maintaining a full assurance of your salvation — the greatest comfort for a Christian facing long-term suffering and death, and a comfort you are commanded to pursue by both the Apostles Peter and Paul. (See II Peter 1:10, II Corinthians 13:5) More papers will be added here over time.
